How do you process payments and what kind of payment methods can I use?
Payment methods depend on your order method:

For App/Web Orders, everything is processes through the Dumpling App/Site. The way we can guarantee that you will never pay the corporate app markups is because you are only charged when I finish and scan the receipt.

For Direct Orders, we process our invoices through HoneyBook. We also take Venmo, CashApp, ApplePay, Google Pay, and good old cash money as needed.

**Regardless of which method you choose, we can never see or access your payment information.
I want to use the app but the restaurant I want is not listed?
If you want to use the app rather than direct ordering but your restaurant is not listed take these steps:

Select YOUR LISTS + or START A SHOPPING LIST ->

Type your store in REQUEST A STORE

The name of your store will appear under CUSTOM STORES with a house icon–click it

Click the WRITE-IN ITEM option

Build your order by writing in the item you want and add any special notes (imagine that you were texting your friend your lunch order)

We go and get your food 🙂
What are prebuilt orders versus list orders and why is there a price difference?
Great question!

Prebuilt or mock orders are when you use an app (DoorDash, Grubhub, Spark, etc) or store website to create an order but not complete it. This way you can send us a picture copy of your list with all of the details.

A list order is just a good old fashioned shopping list, i.e. you text us I need a dozen eggs, 2% milk, and whipping cream.

The cost difference is due to the increased difficulty and time of a list order. Plus, if you went through the effort of creating a prebuilt order, we want to reward your time spent with a bit of a discount 🙂
I need you to shop multiple stores, do you offer a discount?

We offer a discount for multistore shopping of 10% off your bill. However, because we need adequate time to complete your order, please book each shopping locations separately in our booking calendar.

For example; You want us to hit two grocery stores and order your dinner at olive garden. You would book us for two time slots for grocery shopping and one time slot for restaurant order.
I'm a returning customer, do I have to fill out all of the booking information?

If you have already completed a direct order from us and we already have your information, you don’t need to fill out the booking form. You can select BOOK NOW on our direct ordering page to see our availability calendar before you call or text us to initiate an order.
Why do my payments come up as "Leeward Innovations LLC"
Why do you do this?

Very few people enjoy shopping. Let’s face it: your time is better spent doing other things you need to get done or would enjoy doing more. Let us deal with the long lines, frustrating store searches, loading in and out, and driving back and forth, while you get on with your life.

We do this because we are very good at it–and so you don’t have to!
What is your position on tipping?

We have always found that the corporate app companies’ method of tipping before service is strange. However, gratuity is an important part of showing appreciation for a job well done. It is our hope that when you see the quality of services we provide, you will consider that little extra well worth it. That being said, tipping is always the client’s prerogative.
